Client: Eleven Eleven Properties

Scott called me because he'd seen my Come Prepared poster. Lunenburg's postal office was moving, and for the first time, he needed to find a new tenant for his commercial space, located in the historic town center.

He wanted to bring young creatives to Lunenburg, and he didn't think his old ad was going to do it. He wanted something that'd grab attention.

Somehow, a rumour had circulated that this spot was going to be turned into a strip club, and the story made it to the front page of the Globe and Mail. Since they're no such thing as bad press, I toyed with the strip club idea a little.

This mockup continued with the innuendo, but played on the post office concept.

Final Ad

After some modifications, we settled on this ad, which combined innuendo (to grab attention) with nautical imagery (to exemplify Lunenburg's positive traits).

Later, we created a less cheeky ad.
