Triple R Tack sells a good deal of glitzy tack to little girls. Accordingly, Joan was looking for a logo that was a little bit western, a little bit “bling”. She also wanted to incorporate three intertwined Rs.

Rs, as it turns out, don't really connect that well. I played around with upper and lowercase letterforms and found the most effective combination was one of the simplest, giving the impression of a cattle brand. We then added text and a horseshoe studded with purple crystals.
